5-0 out of 5 stars Melbrooks funniest movies
This was one of the funniest movies about robinhood and his married men. When i first saw this I didnt know they were making fun of robinhood. the robinhood rap didnt even give me a clue that they were making fun of it either. that was along time ago. robinhood (cary elwes) who robs from the rich and gives to the poor. the sherriff of rottingham (roger rees) who is somethimes A dimwit. prince john (richard lewis) who raises taxes and he uses up the kings power. maid marrion (amy yasbeck)who loves robinhood. and the very ugly witch latrine (tracy ullman) who is inlove with the sherrif of rottingham cracks me up the most. best comedy ever this deserves a 5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Call a locksmith!
I prepurchased this DVD because I'd been waiting so long for it to come out. (I still have my VHS version). I've loved this movie since the first time I saw it as a child. The great thing about it is every time you watch it you catch new jokes. Cary Elwes gives his best performance to date as the charming, witty Robin Hood who, "unlike some other Robin Hoods", can speak with an English accent. From start to finish this movie will have you laughing. Mel Brooks even makes an appearance as the flippant Rabbi Tuckman. This is not a movie to miss.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Mel Brooks amazing comedy :-)
You will absolutely split your sides with this movie. It's still one of my favourite spoofs. It's clever, witty and thoroughly enjoyable.Mel Brooks is a genius. He directed and co-wrote it.

5-0 out of 5 stars What an unexpected surprise!
This is the movie that put Josh Hartnett on the acting map for me. His earlier works have been easy enough to avoid and consider yourself lucky if you've been able to do so. I do hope this is a transition on his part into better roles; he was entertaining. His quick-witted quips keep you laughing and help you avoid the need to wonder what on earth is going on in the movie. They fill you in due time, even though I wouldn't be surprised if you figure out the ending before it unfolds; you wouldn't be the first.
4-0 out of 5 stars hard to believe this genre can STILL create such gems
If you ask me, the gangster genre has of late become one of the most consistently inventive and energetic film genres today. The work of Guy Ritchie (most notably, _Snatch_) or even the plethora of Japanese yakuza films (by directors like Takashi Miike and Sabu) or one of the notable Mel Gibson movies of recent history (_Payback_) have shown that the realm of crime right now is some prime ground for quirky and interesting characters, inventive dialogue, and making movies that invent themselves along the way rather than tiresomely beat along typical paths.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is a Kansas City Shuffle
I got the chance to catch Lucky Number Slevin in theaters, and I'm glad I did. IN FACT, I was so glad, I saw it a second time. This is a great noir/mystery film surely not to be missed. Most underrated of the year for sure. There are so many things I can say, but to keep it breif, WATCH THIS MOVIE. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Old House
As studio execs continue to milk the cash cow that is the CG animated feature, MONSTER HOUSE is refreshing on two fronts; firstly, we see a departure from cutesy animals/toys in peril, and secondly, it's good!
4-0 out of 5 stars The Scares are Big, Bold and Loud!
The movie is about a monster house that is more intense than the shark from Jaws.
4-0 out of 5 stars good tricks for kids and a treat for their parents
Monster House uses the same motion-capture technology as Zemeckis' Polar Express but takes it to the next level. This time around, the whole context of the movie will appeal to a wider audience so this is a great opportunity to display the possibilities that this all digital technology offers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love the show (although I've never really good at math)
Even for a bad math-student like me, this show is so cool. It's thoroughly and really simplify all the math thing related to the case. Love the cast and the script. I'm waiting for the third season to come out now.

5-0 out of 5 stars NUMERICAL ORDER
With its second season, this absorbing and original crime drama seems to have matured and blossomed, making it one of the more entertaining shows on network t.v.The premise of using numbers and mathematical equations to solve crimes is unique and the writers have made their integrations a little more down to earth and plausible this season. The writers were also able to incorporate personal sidebars to help us identify more with all of the characters and do so without losing focus of the episode's main plots.

I got the first season of NUMB3RS on DVD and I loved it.I love having them to watch over and over again.I love this show, but much as I loved the first season of NUMB3RS I love the second season even better with the new female agent Megan played by Diane Farr.I can't wait to get this on DVD ... 5-0 out of 5 stars the reviewer below me is insane
Its kind of amazing how the previous reviewer knows so much about this show, yet dislikes it so much.If your a fanatic like this person then dont watch the show its not for you, because you take yourself far too seriously. this show as well as south park poke fun at all aspects of life, sadly people are so sensitive and when something hits alittle too close to home they write stupid reviews... If you are a religious fanatic dont watch this show, you wont like it.

1-0 out of 5 stars In the name of the Father, the Son and the holy fonz..... BITE ME!!
I was right when I reviewed season 3 of family guy.The creators got MORE militant, and more sacreligeous just like South Park did.Give anyone a little glory,a little money, and they will have enough arrogance to spit in the face of anything sacred.
5-0 out of 5 stars Dont bite the hand that draws for you.
If you like the show, buy it.If you can't afford it, don't buy it.If Fox wants to sell 3 episodes for 120 bucks, who cares? Why do people complain so much when the very thing they complain about is what brings them pleasure?I mean, come on... it's a CARTOON!So I guess if you can't save your money and buy it when you can afford it, you will stomp your feet and resort to stealing. Its clear Fox has met their match, but just in case they don't feel like giving in to your demands... you might want to start saving your money now for the next season. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The unit
This was delivered very quickly and packaged very securely. The DVDs themselves were of excellent quality. The episodes were all they were advertised to be: exciting, unpredictable, and of great plot lines. It makes you want for more............

5-0 out of 5 stars The Man Code is a Special Forces Drama Always Compelling
I've always loved David Mamet films because of his brisk realistic dialogue and his preoccupation with the male code and its clash with civilization. That theme is well served in The Unit, even better than films, because he has the long-range TV landscape to develop his characters, Delta Force anti-terrorist unit who, for hardly any pay, risk their lives in international missions while their wives, living in a nondescript military base, pinch pennies and deal with the daily dramas of having husbands who could die in the blink of an eye. Avoiding sentimentality, piety, and jingoism, The Unit has an appropriately cynical look at power and the use of trickery to succeed against one's enemies and even one's bureacratic bosses. In this sense, The Unit resembles the show 24 but unlike 24, which is often over the top, The Unit employs psychological realism. Perhaps better than any TV show right now, The Unit specializes in riveting plot lines, especially employing the reversal, where the plot goes one way and then turns the tables in a way that never seems forced or arbitrary. So far the second season has proved as the good as the first. If you haven't seen The Unit, the DVD first series season is a must.

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST new show of last season.
David Mamet, one of the premier dramatists in the world combining with Shawn Ryan, the creator of THE SHIELD, one of the most consistenly intelligent and uncompromising shows on TV to create an instantly addictive new program: THE UNIT. It has a terrific cast, with a great leading man in Dennis Haysbert, and makes for very compelling TV. The basics of this program are essentially an extension of one of Mamet's favorite recent subjects: The Black Ops soldiers. Their missions are secret, even to the people they love the most, and they are very important to the security of our nation. Even if the mission is "BOHICA". Mamet's love for this subject has been displayed in two of his recent efforts, SPARTAN, which he wrote and directed, and John Frankenheimer's RONIN, which he co-wrote under a psuedonym, which both focus on the lives and missions of professionals who will stop at nothing to get the job done. And as in everything Mamet, NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS. Don't believe what you hear, see, or feel. On occasion, the show can be a little predictable, but those who are students of Mamet's dialogue will definitely be able to tell the episodes that he himself has written, which by and large, are the best of the episodes. Aside from that, this is a great show, showing the aspects of several different conflicts of all the lives involved, whether the men in the field or the wives and the children and friends left back home. Check it out. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars How do I play The Royal LIfe ?
I love the movie! I just have one problem. I can't seem to be able to play The Royal Life from Disc 2? I put it in my computer and clicked on The Royal Life and it just gives me a summary of what it's about and then tells me to insert the dvd-rom. Does someone know how to do this?

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Cinderella is the film that saved the Walt Disney Company.
5-0 out of 5 stars Walt Disney's Best Movie
Disney made its mark as a major studio in 1937 with its first full-length feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Ironically, given this early success, Snow White was their only hit movie for the next 13 years. World War II kicked the hell out of Disney's overseas markets. Even movies today regarded as classic Disney - Pinnochio, Bambi, Fantasia - lost money on initial release. Disney eked through by diversifying into training films for the US government, and the South American films that were part of FDR's Good Neighbor policy, etc. - stuff that made back its costs but not much more. By 1948, Disney was in dire financial straits. They had just enough money for one more movie. Walt Disney realized he needed a hit or his studio probably wouldn't survive, and it would have to be what they did best: a full-length animated feature film. Walt said to himself, "What we need is a movie about a girl in trouble. Audiences love that. They loved Snow White." That's what he wanted: a movie like Snow White, but even more so - more comedy, more drama, more magic, more music, more lovable characters. He chose as the basis of his company's Hail Mary pass arguably the most famous fairy tale in the world: Cinderella.

5-0 out of 5 stars Girls Love Unicorns!!!
We can all pick apart this show's second season till the cows come home. It's way too complicated, it's highly implausible and maybe even impossible at times. But here's the bottom line. It's a smart and funny show with likable, even lovable (Veronica/Wallace/Keith) characters.
1-0 out of 5 stars Love the show, but I need my subtitles, dammit!
I enjoyed the first season of Veronica Mars immensely, and was looking very much forward to season two.But the lack of English subtitles has prevented me from watching the season even though I bought it.As a non-native English speaker, I very often need to rely on the subtitles to follow the snappy dialogue, and while every tv series I ever bought to this point has had them they're apparently disappearing (missed them on the new Gilmore Girls dvd set as well). The choice is now limited to French or Spanish, neither of which I understand. Please, please put the English subtitles back in!

2-0 out of 5 stars Please enter a title for your review
I was totally looking forward to watching the second season of Veronica Mars but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I think you really need to watch it twice to understand most of what's going on because the writing doesn't direct your attention to a lot of the things that you're supposed to take note of that become relevent later on. It's more immediately concerned with having Veronica always following dead-end leads to keep the mystery going, so by the time she actually gets on the right track you don't know what pieces of information are still relevent. Like in episode 1 when Veronica asks her dad to look up the shareholders of Boatloads Of Fun Corp, I had no idea where she got that name from or why she thought they were involved. Watching it a second time I realised that one of the athletes who was framed for drug use mentioned earlier to Veronica that the company was sueing her parents, but it didn't register as a pertinent piece of information because at the time there didn't seem to be any reason to think they were a suspect.

5-0 out of 5 stars Humor vs Drama
A final season of a fantastic diverse TV series. For years I've been waiting for the next season and couldn't wait to complete this set.Now that time is here, I am sad to see something that I've loved for years is going to end...again.Back in 2002, I began to collect the series while I was stationed in Korea. The series began out as a comedy-heavy sitcom and moved more to a more dramatic/comedy series.Although many have complained that M*A*S*H did less comedy, I believe it more appropriately represents life in Korea. The last time I seen the final episode I was 10 years old, back then I didn't understand the levity of the episode...but I knew to watch and be apart of history.
5-0 out of 5 stars Final Season bowed it with Class
Season 11 left like M*A*S*H came in, with class. Though the show was completely different by the end, the show was still quality entertainment. The message and medium were radically different, but the quality was never lost. Even after 11 years M*A*S*H wasstill able to make you laugh, think, and cry, sometimes all in one episode. Some shows leave on crutches with lame stories and a tired cast. M*A*S*H didn't suffer that fate. That was rare 20 years ago, and even rarer today.
5-0 out of 5 stars Episode Guide
The final season of this touching series is finally being released to DVD. Those devoted individuals who follow the progress of this series will not be disappointed by the hilarious and touching episodes presenting in this compilation as well as the poignant concluding episode, " Goodbye, Farewell and Amen".For easy reference, I have provided an episode guide detailing all sixteen episodes of this concluding season complete with short synopsizes. Enjoy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great movie, but not as good as the book
I don't really believe there's more than 10 people in the world that haven't seen the movie or read the book, so probably not a big audience for this review.
1-0 out of 5 stars The silliest story ever told
This film has to be one of the most ridiculous ever made.It is an incoherent, baffling and tedious tale about some vast conspiracy by the Catholic Church to cover up the truth about Jesus (that he was married to Mary Magdalene and had offspring), and apparently just about everything that has ever happened in world history since has been caused by this continuing cover-up.I have seldom seen a film both so ridiculous and so boring. It is slow, dull, pretentious and almost entirely incomprehensible. It is depressing to think that the novel on which this film is based has been a massive best-seller.Absolute drivel from beginning to end.

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than You Might Think
The DaVinci Code deserved better reviews than it received from the critics. Ron Howard did a good job of condensing a very long and complex plot into a comprehensible movie of reasonable length. Tom Hanks does an excellent job of portraying the American symbologist who is suspected of murder, and Audrey Tatou is an excellent counterpart to Hanks. I didn't even mind Tom's hair--it seemed appropriate for his character. My husband, who had not read the book, had no problems following the plot, whereas I, who have read the book, am impressed that they managed to get as much of the book in there as they did. Forget the controversy about the book; don't even think of the idea that the main premise might be true, and concentrate on enjoying the movie. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars a mediocre show
The show is ok.It has more of a sitcom feel than a premium cable drama/"soap opera" style... by which I mean the continuity is pretty negligible.Don't expect things to carry over from episode to episode.I don't think it represents the reality of suburban life or pot smoking very well.Regardless, it is worth a (skeptical) watch.

3-0 out of 5 stars Gateway Drug
I wish Netflix would identify the various cast names with pictures. Weeds, Season One has a large cast and I can't identify the characters to better guide you through a funny soap opera of suburban exaggeration.Notice I did not claim there is a satire going on in the bedroom California community. Satire involves subtlety. There's no subtlety here in Weeds. The opening credits start with the song about "Little houses, Little houses," meaning that the burbs are cookie cutter, same same, so the jobs and life styles are boring. But the weather is great, blue skies above, and really cool folks that smoke a lot of weed. Since marijuana is illegal to possess or sell since the 1930's, there's a certain amount of hypocrisy going on, especially in dealing (er, no double entendre intended) with teenagers.
3-0 out of 5 stars cool show, but needs stronger writing
i got to see the show in it's first season&enjoyed alot of it for it's vibe, but the writing was underwhelming in certain areas.i dug the Main characters, but they are sometimes never fully developed&then you are left with a vibe that something is just slightly missing. still it's One of the few shows that I will check out on the Regular. it has room for growth&could be a tight show.of course the Leafy,Leafy should be Legalized!!! it'sa trip watching all of the various Dime bags getting created on the show. 5-0 out of 5 stars come on people
When I first saw trailers for this show where the father was having a blast in prison I thought that it looked stupid. However I watched an episode because it was on after The Simsons and I realized that this was a very funny show. The only problem was that it was half way through the season so I mist some of the episodes. I don't buy shows no dvd but I had to get this one because it's that good.
5-0 out of 5 stars I Wish I Would Have Discovered This Show Sooner.
I was introduced to ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT through a good friend. From watching the first episode I was hooked.Unfortunately, I was one of many people who didn't discover the show until after it had been canceled at Fox.The show is filmed in veritae style (like a documentary) and though much of the acting seems to be improved, it is not.The writing on the show is full of wit and humor and is funny on numerous different levels, not to mention that a small side joke might have significance a few episodes or even a season later.ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT is a character oriented show and every character has a very important role to play in the situations and development of the overarching storyline of the series.
5-0 out of 5 stars Most concentrated dose of comedy ever televised
Try to remember the most fun you've ever had. Chances are you're thinking about time you spent with close friends. In your funniest memory, your friends aren't telling set-up/punchline jokes, are they? The fun is in the journey and in a mutual appreciation of one another's idiosyncrasies. The inside jokes that can make you laugh on a street corner 10 years after the initial incident are things that happened, not formula joke.

This superbly acted and directed DVD centers around the troopers of Company E (Easy), of the 506th (5 Oh 6th) Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 101st Airborne Division (Sreaming Eagles) from their training in Camp Curahee in Georgia through part of the occupation of Germany after victory in Europe.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE OTHER GREAT ONE.......
JACKIE GLEASON WAS THE GREAT ONE, BUT WITHOUT A DOUBT ALFRED HITCHCOCK WAS IN THE 1950'S IS MY EARLIEST MEMORY OF SUNDAY NIGHTS AT 10 PM. HITCHCOCK PRESENTS IS WITHOT MATCH WHEN IT CAME TO A FORRUNNER OF ROD SERLING AND THE TWILIGHT ZONE. HITCHCOCK'S PRICELESS DRY WIT AND CALM ENGLISH MANNER AT THE BEGINING AND END OF THE EPISODES MADE THE WATCHING ALL THE BETTER. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE WHO LOVES A TWISTED TALE OF NOT ALWAYS SEEING IS BELIEVING. 5 STARS TO UNIVERSAL FOR THIS RELEASE IN 5 DISCS, CLEAR, CRISP, NO FREEZE UP, GLORIOUS IN B&W.

4-0 out of 5 stars No more dual sided discs! Yea!
The second season of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" arrives on DVD a year after the first set. I suspect Universal wanted to gage the reaction from fans before moving forward with future sets. Luckily Universal has abandoned the dual sided dual layered discs that they had many manufacturing problems with on the first season set. Instead they've opted for single sided dual layered DVDs. We get five DVDs housed in a boxed set the same size as the first (with the same cover design but with the title card in green vs. blue). As before the episodes are listed on the inside and out flaps of the cardboard holder. Unfortunately none of them list which ones were directed by Hitchcock.
5-0 out of 5 stars It's Finally Here & It's GREAT!!!!!!!!
Well, the long awaited DVD set of AHP is here at last. There are 39 episodes in this second season set. The 39 are as follows:

4-0 out of 5 stars Another star role for Hopkins
This is an interesting movie. It is an odd title, unless you know that there is an old motorcycle manufacturer named Indian, and even then you wonder, why is an old motorcycle interesting. This is a wonderfully quirky movie about following your dreams and how one 60+ year old guy did that to set some world speed records on top of a 40 year old deathtrap of a machine. It is based on a true story of a New Zealander who did just that.Although I might have made the movie a few minutes slower, it is a wonderful film, and one the whole family can enjoy. It is moving, funny, inspiring and warm.Hopkins is wonderful in this role and shows again the range of his acting talents.Hannibel Lecter is nowhere to be found in this movie.Even if you don't know an Indian from a Ducati, you will find yourself rooting for the nifty old guy as he sets out to follow his dreams. The movie really is a reminder to all of us that it is never to late to follow our dreams. The extras with the movie are terrific- some deleted scenes, commentary, and a wonderful documentary on the person the movie is based on.All in all, a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

3-0 out of 5 stars The documentary is more interesting . . .
Anthony Hopkins is a brilliant actor whose performances are legendary, be it as "Hannibal Lecter" or as Pablo Picasso in "Surviving Picasso," or C.S. Lewis in "Shadowlands" or Henry Wilcox in "Howards End" or Stevens in "The Remains of the Day"--which are merely a few of his memorable performances. He is wonderful in the life story of New Zealander Burt Munro in "The World's Fastest Indian" too.
5-0 out of 5 stars It's put Invergargill on the map!
A truely great story of a Kiwi bloke done good... eventually.

5-0 out of 5 stars Achtung Baby / Zoo TV = Rock's second Sgt. Pepper ?
Incredible ! Zoo TV , 12 years on and still holding up strong...IMHO Achtung Baby / Zoo TV was as revolutionary, groundbreaking and mezmerizing to 90s Rock as The Beatle's Sgt. Pepper was in the 60's.
5-0 out of 5 stars More of a rock spectacle than a concert
Live from Sydney is the first DVD release to actually take place long before the others. Done around the Achtung Baby/Zooropa era, the DVD is missing a lot of those songs from Pop to All That You Can't Leave Behind and Atomic Bomb. For some it's great (I mean, how often can we see Beautiful Day and Elevation on a DVD?) while others wish that certain songs were included or that the concert took place after a certain record. Zoo TV was just the precursor to the band's too-ambitious PopMart tour yet at the same time it's great to see that spectacle aspect.
5-0 out of 5 stars Finally
The last great U2 stadium tour is finally on DVD.Also, Bono's voice sounds just as good on this as it did in the early years of the band's history...most fans have come to the sad realization that Bono's voice is just a shadow of what this DVD will show it used to be.

2-0 out of 5 stars Almost Powerful, Unfortunately Insulting
I watched this with interest because there are too few movies about strong women/girls and too few movies about strong female athletes. Overall, it has a great girl-power premise. It demonstrates how physically-demanding, regimented, and unfair gymnastics can be. The climactic scene at the Championships has a powerful message despite how unrealistic it is. The main character (Haley Graham) is played well by Missy Peregrym. Her best line is delivered in a diner: "I wasn't great. I was obedient." Yes, Jeff Bridge's role is woefully clichéd, but this is forgivable, because, as the coach, he's the apparatus (sorry) off which Haley Graham and the other athletes can launch themselves.
1-0 out of 5 stars Gold medal winner in the "Most Annoying Character In A Fictional Screenplay" category
Some juvenile delinquent girl gets in trouble with the cops, she's sent to gymnastics camp (she used to be a sickeningly famous gymnast before she became a worthless slacker). She thinks everything and everyone is really really stupid, she does nothing but argue with everyone all the time, it's all her parents fault of course because she's perfect, her dialogue consists of nothing but smart-aleck remarks that she says in that "oh so cute" way that fans of Lizzie McGuire may find clever...good grief. This is just beyond unwatchable.Even worse is the fact that the lead actress is 24 years old, and yet her and everyone else in the whole movie act like a bunch of narcissistic 12 year olds;It just grates on your nerves until you're about ready to shove the DVD through the paper shredder.

4-0 out of 5 stars "It's not called gymNICEstics"
Stick It is a teen-comedy about a former gymnast turned BMX biker who gets sent back to an elite gymnastics program after pulling a reckless stunt. When she's given the choice between the Texas Military Academy or VGA (the Vickerman Gymnastics Academy), Haley Graham chooses the former. Unfortunately, her judge has a sense of humor and sends her to VGA.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have
Charlie Brown is classic. You'll love his simple style and humor and the kids will too.It reminds me of simpler times in life without all the clutter and business of today. There's no fighting, special powers, x-ray vision, etc.Just Charlie Brown and the gang learning about life and teaching important lessons along the way.
5-0 out of 5 stars Charlie's Holidays
These are the tv shows you remember. Not the bad - strike that - terrible holiday shows that the tv executives are giving us.The original is the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars arrested development is back for more
One thing about Arrested Development that I forgot to mention in my previous review is how the humor holds up nicely over the years. What I found funny last year when I was watching the show is JUST as consistently funny now.In fact, now that I understand the style of humor better, I think the show is even funnier now.
5-0 out of 5 stars please let me go I won't tell anybody, including the police
If you loved the first season then you will love this one as well. Some of the charactersand plots are a little bit crazier than the first season. It doesn't get old or stale like some shows do. It seems that the show kept on being way out there compared to other shows instead of trying to copy them for better ratings.
5-0 out of 5 stars What is up FOX NETWORK?
Fox seems to come out with some of the best shows and then for some reason they start changing things around. Every Sunday night my family was sure to be watching Fox. I just don't understand. They either move a great show to a time I don't know or can't watch or cancel the show. Bernie Mac is another show that seemed to get lost. Stop moving your great shows around or cancelling them. ... Editorial Review

Disney's 1992 animated feature is a triumph of wit and skill. The high-tech artwork and graphics look great, the characters are strong, the familiar story is nicely augmented with an interesting villain (Jafar, voiced by Jonathan Freeman), and there's an incredible hook atop the whole thing: Robin Williams's frantically hilarious vocal performance as Aladdin's genie. Even if one isn't particularly moved by the love story between the title character (Scott Weinger) and his girlfriend Jasmine (Linda Larkin), you can easily get lost in Williams's improvisational energy and the equally entertaining performances of Freeman and Gilbert Gottfried (as Jafar's parrot). 5-0 out of 5 stars SOUNDS GREAT - LOOKS GREAT & IT'S GOT ROBIN WILLIAMS & AN EXCITING PLOT TOO!
IN A NUTSHELL: A WHOLE NEW WORLD & IT INCLUDES ROBIN WILLIAMS AS THE GENIE
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Disney Fun For The Whole Family. Great Story, Wonderful Voice Cast And Classic Songs Make This A Diamond In The Rough.
Walt Disney Pictures struck gold yet again (as they've done since 1937, when Walt Disney released the comnpany's first animated feature film "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs") with another delightful animated family film, a classic alongside "Beauty And The Beast," "The Lion King," "Toy Story" and many other Disney favorites. The story is timeless, like "Beauty And The Beast" and "The Lion King" so I won't summarize it. "Come on down, stop on by. Hop a Carpet And Fly To Another Arabian Night." Be prepared to discover "A Diamond In The Rough." The special features (beginning on Disc 1 and continued on Disc 2), along with the movie, are "A treasure-trove of riches" destined to please everyone. The voice cast includes Linda Larkin, Scott W., Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried and Robin Williams. I love this movie. Rated G.

4-0 out of 5 stars the trend lives on
by 1992 and aladdin's release disney was riding high with such hits as "the little mermaid" and "beauty and the beast." disney carried on it's trend with this fun filled adventure.aladdin was truely a great additiion to the disney cannon because of strenght and subtleties.
