3-0 out of 5 stars What You Get...
The four films on this release bridge the gap between sci-fi and horror. Titles included are: KILLER EYE, in which a homeless man's eye goes on a kill-crazy rampage after being removed from its socket by a mad scientist; KRAA! THE SEA MONSTER, which finds the earth under threat from alien forces who have released a gigantic sea monster on the planet; MURDERCYCLE, in which a motorcyclist is possessed by an alien who transforms him into a killing machine; and the wonderfully named ZARKORR! THE INVADER, which sees a postal worker and a 5-inch-tall female hologram trying to stop an alien creature before it destroys the world. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars CURSE OF THE WITCHOO
THE VAULT is bad. That's all there is to it.The script is ridiculous; the effects laughable; the performances awful.Full Moon should be ashamed of this howler. And I have to say that someone needs to tell actress Shani Pride that the proper pronunciation of "What's with you" is not "What's witchoo?".A real loser.

5-0 out of 5 stars Damn Good Indie Pic!
This movie has a great concept, great acting, and overall great production value despite its low budget.Aspiring low budget moviemakers should pay attention to works like this from Full Moon and others.

1-0 out of 5 stars A very bad movie.
This movie was showing on my cable company's video on demand and the plot summary enticed me and my friends into paying $3.95 to rent it. It was not worth it!Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars All censored
I have some Surrender Cinema stuff and they are really good softcore. But, this DVD is not. It's completely censored, if you buy it, you're gonna miss all the good parts. It lasts only 70+min when it's supposed to last 90. Don't buy this unless you get a really uncut version.

1-0 out of 5 stars Another cut-to-shreds R rated version from Koch.
Like the other reviewer below stated, this DVD release from Koch has been cut to shreds. It is not the director's cut and it only runs 71 minutes. Stay away from this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Again, Surrender Cinema surrenders to censorship!
Dont buy this DVD!Surrender Cinema has a unfortunate knack of claiming "Director's Cut" on it's DVDs when in fact they are no such thing. This film is rather heavily censored. All the other reviews of this are apparently from pople whodon't realize this sad fact.Sorry you wasted your money because many scenes/takes have been cut out of the US version, despite the fact it claims "Directors Cut".Be weary... you're being had my friends. Sad thing is, I rate the "real" director's cut version 5 stars all the way! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars "Just the basics, Watson, just the basics. . ."
What a relief to find a DVD of Holmes and Watson that is not an out and out abomination, like the 'Evening With Holmes' boxed set from Focus FIlms (I still have a bad taste in my mouth from that one). This DVD has acceptable audio without background noise, and the picture quality is crisp and clear, and relatively speckle free--it notes on the case that these two selections have been 'digitally remastered'.The presentation does not, as far as I can tell, lack any footage from the original.3-0 out of 5 stars Where is "Key Video" when you need them
I must admit, I've been spoiled by VHS.Never thought I'd say that while reviewing a DVD.Not sure when or if "Key Video" will dub their VHS master copies of the Sherlock Holmes Collection onto DVD (let's hope it's soon), but the Marengo version is adequate at best.If you have any of the original Sherlock's on VHS from Key Video get ready for a video and audio disappointment with this DVD.Video is bright and soft, and no amount of Contrast/Brightness adjusting will make it much better. I hate this about older movies, especially when another company has a far superior copy of the same flick. The audio is Digital Mono (as expected), and sounds hollow.Overall the movies are clean, but not excitingly so.It's worth the $13, but I'd hope for a complete Key Video release before investing the any others...

5-0 out of 5 stars Sherlock Looks Great on DVD!
I am a huge fan of the 1940's Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone as Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson.Marengo Films has released The Women In Green and Dressed To Kill as a DVD Double Feature and they did a wonderful job! What really stands out is the attention to quality from the box art to the quality of the prints. The whole presentation from Marengo Films is A +. I hope to see more Sherlock Holmes titles from this company, I will replace all of my collection with these fine DVDs. ... Read more
