There's an extra coat of hot wax on Pixar's vibrant, NASCAR-influenced comedy about a world populated entirely by cars. Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) is the slick rookie taking the Piston Cup series by storm when the last race of the season (the film's high-octane opening) ends in a three-way tie. On the way to the tie-breaker race in California, Lightning loses his way off Route 66 in the Southwest desert and is taught to stop and smell the roses by the forgotten citizens of Radiator Springs. It's odd to have such a slim story from the whizzes of Pixar, and the film pales a bit from their other films (though can that be a fair comparison?). Nonetheless, Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Pixar can do better -- much better
Pixar has quite a high bar to maintain and they falter a little on this one.Based on my 12 year old neice's suggestion, she and I watched this film.Pixar's usually pretty good right? Both of us at one point looked at each other about half way through to figure out what time it was.The film has great messages and wonderful animation but the execution is really flat and boring.Pixar is noteable for being exceptional, something that's hard to do with animated films that will be appealing to both kids and adults. It's enjoyable for the most part but this clearly is the first of the Pixar films to fall noticeably short.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pixar Continues To Shine
Oh, how easy it would be to duplicate one's success with a tried and true formula, but not Pixar. And this it what makes them so special and unique. They like to take risks. Thank goodness for John Lasseter and the wonderful team of animators at Pixar because they did it again. "Cars" was thoroughly enjoyable and great entertainment. This was definitely challenging, computer-animated cars. Who would have thought that when it all started with toys that we'd make it through bugs, monsters, fish, and talking cars? Pixar is a true delight. This is a fun movie. I look forward to watching it on DVD since I only saw it once in the theater. Once again, you have great voice-over work and immaculate landscapes for the cars to roam through. All of Pixar's movies are genuinely heartfelt and "Cars" is no exception. If you have Pixar's others movies on DVD, then you don't want to skip this one. "Cars" is great for either adults or kids. Don't hesitate, get this great dose of computer-animated eye candy before the stores run out.

5-0 out of 5 stars so far, so good...
Disney movies really aren't my thing. For example, I recently bought a few movies from WalMart: Serenity, Slither, and Final Destination II... none of which are Disney movies.I used to think that Disney movies were mainly for kids. Granted, I do have the entire Lilo and Stitch series, but beyond that, my late Disney experiences have been from watching old WD movies like Beauty and the Beast and Finding Nemo with my 5-year old cousin (and don't take that as a rip on Finding Nemo; I actually really liked that movie). What really attracted me to Cars in the first place, however, was the fact that it had Larry the Cable Guy in it, as the lovable but somewhat dimwitted Tow Mater (known throughout the film simply as Mater), seeing as I am a HUGE fan of Larry's material.I finally got to see the movie as a result of a bootleg copy I got from a friend.I must say, it is one of THE best Disney movies I have ever seen.It was very family-friendly and overall quite hilarious.

    4-0 out of 5 stars IT'S A WONDERFUL CLICK
A CHRISTMAS CAROL....ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE...CLICK.Yes, all three have one thing in common:they all show their heroes what their lives could have been like had they made different choices.CLICK certainly isn't the kind of classic the other two films have become, but for entertaining its audience, CLICK manages to click.
3-0 out of 5 stars I got what I expected.
Yet another Adam Sandler film is now gracing the shelves of your local video store with the promise that if you shut off your brain and just let the movie play itself out, all will be well.I have to admit that I did suffer the occassional chuckle here and there.Christopher Walken is a hoot, yet again, looking for all the world like the crazed professor from "Back to the Future" and now tenanting the "Way Beyond" section at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.Kate Beckinsale is pretty, as per usual, though unfortunately otherwise forgettable.Adam Sandler, not nearly as annoying as he has been in his goofier roles, has a universal remote that can control his Universe, and I couldn't help but be reminded of Jim Carey's "Bruce Almighty" as both characters abuse their respective power to the point of being taught a lesson in humilty and are eventually reminded of what they truly value. There is also a cliche' plot twist near the end of "Click" that is not at all surprising, but having turned off most of my brain before the film started, I really didn't mind all that much. The premise of the "Universal" remote control works for a while but starts to wear thin towards the end of the movie; as a running joke it holds up as long as possible but slowly fades. This is by no means a horrible film, as I did laugh out loud a few times, but it also will not garner any critical accolades any time soon.I consider "Click" to be a decent rental.

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a powerful hilarious comedy drama...Do you wnat that or not?
I knew CLICK would be funny and it was. It had plenty of the gags, plays on words, physical comedy, and potty humor. But it had so much more than Adam Sandler movies usually also.

5-0 out of 5 stars DVD makes "The Office" Season 2 even better
if you're reading this you probably already love "The Office" for its deadpan humor and great characters, but you might be debating whether or not to throw money down for the DVD. Well, no regrets here. The DVD does the series justice with a plethora of deleted scenes for each episode (quality scenes too - cut for time only). The blooper real is also hilarious, and the commentaries are fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Show Ever
The Office Season 2. The best season ever. I missed the first season but seeing small previews of the episodes I thought and knew it was going to be a absolute hit. I watched it in about 1 and 1/2 weeks and it was pretty good. I kept thinking about the "updog" joke that Jim makes. That Jim is hilarious l.o.l. and some of my friends walked right into the joke when I tried it on them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best sit com on TV!
The office is by far the most clever and funny sit-com on TV right now.No other show since Seinfeld has made me laugh out loud like the Office has.The genius of the show is that the humor is conveyed in subtleties through great character development. No stupid one liners and laugh tracks here.I agree as previous reviewers have stated that the show got much better in season two, but for full character development you need to watch from the beginning. If you like intelligent humor (and especially if you have worked in an office) this show will not disappoint! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars This is not what one would expect
As one who watched when Prairie Home Companion was broadcast by PBS and listened on the radio for the rest of the years I was not impressed by this DVD.I listen to Prairie Home Companion because it is uplifting and entertaining. This movie is slow and depressing and the only thing I found of value was the music tracks on the bonus menus.I received more enjoyment from the 30 year anniversary DVD.This movie did not reflect the values and talents of the radio broadcast. However, it may be a good indication of what is coming to the show.

4-0 out of 5 stars That Lake Wobegon Sensibility Comes to the Screen.
"A Prairie Home Companion" takes its title from the syndicated radio variety show created and hosted by Garrison Keillor that can probably be found once a week on your local public radio station. The show is taped before a live audience in the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. This movie is a look backstage during a fictional final show. The real show is alive and well, although it did take a hiatus in 1987 that lasted several years. I've never been a fan of director Robert Altman, because, as he is the first to say, he's not interested in stories. He is interested in behavior. I, on the other hand, find behavior meaningless without the context of an interesting story to make it bearable. But Robert Altman was a good choice to direct Garrison Keillor's script for "A Prairie Home Companion", which also favors behavior over story. But Keillor doesn't like neuroses, which counterbalances Altman's tendency toward the neurotic. The film is sustained by its cast and its tone -a reserved, frank, good-natured sensibility that it borrows from its real-life namesake.
4-0 out of 5 stars I Won't Be Buying It, But It Had Its Moments
"A Prairie Home Companion" is directed by legendary director Robert Altman ('Short Cuts' & "McCabe & Mrs. Miller') and features a huge cast of stars. They include Woody Harrelson ('The People Vs. Larry Flynt'), Lindsay Lohan ('Just My Luck'), Lily Tomlin ('Short Cuts'), Meryl Streep ('The Devil Wears Prada'), John C. Reilly ('Gangs of New York'), Kevin Kline ('The Ice Storm'), Tommy Lee Jones ('The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada'), and Virginia Madsen ('Sideways'). A Prairie Home Companion was, apparently, a famous radio show and this is a fictionalized version of it's final broadcast. Woody Harrelson and John C. Reilly play Dusty and Lefty, two cowboys who perform songs and jokes. Lohan plays the daughter of Streep's character, Jones plays The Axe Man; Who's heading over to the stadium to announce it's being shut down, Tomlin plays Lohan's aunt and Streep's sister, Kline plays Guy Noir, a security guard, who talks like a guy straight from a film-noir. I'll get to Virginia Madsen in a moment. The movie is, to say the least, short-on-plot. In fact, the film focuses to much on the music and not enough on the story. Some of the characters are good, but thinly drawn and out of place. Virgina Madsen, basically, plays The Angel of Death and is a completely unneeded character. I love Madsen, but this character is to out-of-place and to symbolic to be here. Kline gets a few genuine laughs and Tomlin, Lohan, and Streep are charming enough to pull off the roles. It's Harrelson and Reilly that steal the show as Dusty and Lefty. I only laughed a few times during the film, but most of those laughs were because of them. The movie isn't bad, but it's a disappointment considering the talent involved (although, everyone tries their best). I'm going to break it down like this...If you like the music, you'll like the movie. If you don't, you won't.

4-0 out of 5 stars Funny, but missing something......
I thought the first Ice Age was great. This one is good, not great. They really used scrat better this time than before, but the rest of the characters were.....not undeveloped, but it just didn't have as many hilarious situations.Sid is as hilarious as ever, but manny and diego doen't do as much.
5-0 out of 5 stars It's Better The Second Time Around
This was HILLARIOUS!!! This was far better than the first movie. John Leguizamo was brilliant as usual, the perfect voice for Sid. And it was great having the voice of Queen Latifah as Ray Ramano's love interest. This movie was a comedy-lovers delight. And of course the squirrel, Scrat, was genius from day one. Every scene he's in is like watching a great silent movie. That actually requires a lot of skill on behalf of the storytellers and animators to create scenes without dialogue that are equally as entertaining and engaging as those with dialogue. The latter is one reason why the first "Ice Age" film distinguished itself. So the team at Blue Sky Studios should be congratulated. This is a sharp movie. No sophomore slump. I have the first one on DVD and I can't wait to get this incredible sequel. Everything just seems more developed and elaborated upon this time around. Computer-animated films were still in their infancy when the first film got released. But the technological progress that has been made since then is obvious and it's been put to good use throughout the movie. I really enjoyed "Ice Age 2." So if you were a fan of the first one, then don't forget to get the sequel when it hits stores this November.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ice Age: The Meltdown (2.5 stars)
Ice Age: The Meltdown is exactly what it sounds like: the Ice Age is thawing out, a great flood is imminent and the mismatched trio of Manny, Sid and Diego find themselves on another journey together. There is no inner group conflict this time around but rather the conflicts are personal to each character: Manny copes with his fear that he may be the last mammoth, Diego reveals that he has a petrifying fear of water, and Sid feels unappreciated by his peers. When Manny runs into Ellie, the only other mammoth left, who just happens to think she's a possum, he brings her along for the ride with her two possum brothers, Crash and Eddie, as well. The ensuing voyage to get to the end of the valley to escape the flood is completely uninteresting and bland, as are all the jokes and problems they face on the way. The witty dialogue that was present in the first film is sorely lacking here with the only laughs coming from the zany physical antics of Scrat, the prehistoric squirrel, and his never ending quest to get his acorn (it says something about the quality of a movie when the funniest parts come from a comedy formula originating in the ice age itself). Ice Age 2 is more of a letdown than anything, a boring and cliched story of a group of oddballs overcoming their fears and differences to become better "people" in the end. Though a series of shorts featuring Scrat would have been far more consistent and entertaining, Ice Age: The Meltdown's box office intake would indicate that this latest installment probably isn't the last of the franchise and that as long as the next one still has Scrat included, it will be just as big of a success. ... This show was one of the best comedies in television history. Only a crappy network Fox had the capability to kill it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Taste the sad
I am a big fan and love seasons 1 and 2.I feel that season 3 is somewhat disappointing.I assume that part of the difference between season 3 and the other seasons is that there was pressure to cram a lot of story into only 13 episodes, plus there were some new writers and pressure to make the jokes more accessible to newer viewers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Discomfort and Realism Have Never Been So Funny
The Office almost didn't succeed. It wasn't because it wasn't funny (it is), wasn't well-acted (it is), or due to poor reviews (critics loved it); people were too afraid that it would pale in comparison to the British series of the same name upon which this show is based. Also, it is a very different style of comedy, which is a huge turn-off to people who are comfortable with the numerous (read: cookie cutter) sitcoms that flood the airwaves each year (Arrested Development fans know what I'm talking about).Anyway, with only a 6 episode first season, things looked pretty grim.Fortunately, the show was able to stay on the air long enough to win over a respectable fanbase, and now it looks like it will be here for a while. But about that first season...
5-0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of Someting Incredible!!!!!
If you want someting new, something fresh, something different; The Office, season 1, is for you!Not incorporating your regular "set up and punch line" comedy, this show will definatly have you laughing out loud.
5-0 out of 5 stars The season that started it all
Office hype is all over the media these days. The show won an emmy and Steve Carrell is "hot" right now.So, if you've become a fan of the show during the second or third season, you need to buy this DVD so you can see where it all began.

As the saying goes, Aaron Eckhart was born to play Nick Naylor, the 30-something "voice of Big Tobacco" in this brazen satire of corporate profits and what lobbyists will do to protect them. Right from the opening, Eckhart is in spin mode, turning the tables on a popular talk show when he states health officials want a young teen stricken by cancer to die more than big tobacco does, since the boy would be a martyr to them, but only a single lost customer to the industry. Audiences gasp, panelists guffaw, and the kid happily shakes Nick's hand. The Academy of Tobacco Studies has a colorful array of folks surrounding Nick, including his cantankerous boss (J.K. Simmons) and the Colonel (Robert Duvall), tobacco's undisputed leader. His closet friends are lobbyists for guns (David Koechner) and alcohol (Maria Bello) who discuss their odd businesses over regular lunches, but when a cutie-pie reporter (Katie Holmes) swings into Nick's life, things begin to unravel. Based on Christopher Buckley's even more outlandish novel, Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Punished Twice: Read the Book and Saw the Movie
Why do I punish myself like this. First of all I read the book by Christopher Buckley because I really like his writing. Occasionally while reading it there was a slight movement of my lips that could be interpreted as the very beginning of a smile. Chris, old buddy, you really let me down with this one I thought when I finished it.
2-0 out of 5 stars Blows Smoke Rings
So many critics heaped so much praise on this movie, I came to it with high expectations. But I was very disappointed.
5-0 out of 5 stars "Can Brad Pitt blow smoke rings?"
`Thank You for Smoking' is one of the funniest and freshest comedies I've seen in a long time. It's smart and witty and capitalizes on its assets brilliantly, leading Aaron Eckhart to what has to be is greatest performance to date (a Golden Globe nod should be a lock at this point). As Nick Naylor, Eckhart is smart, effective and confident as the voice behind big tobacco. He's so into his job that he even goes as far as to somewhat promote smoking to his son's elementary class.Nick regularly meets with his fellow lobbyists (David Koechner & Maria Bello) for lunch, donning the name MOD squad (merchants of death), where they discuss and or compete for the greatest death count.

This big, fat theatrical bomb has a lot going for it. There's the three leads, Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, playing three resurrected witches who wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts, 300 hundred years after they were hung. There's music, special effects, and magic. There's a surprisingly horror-filled plot. Whoops, hold up on that last one. It's probably the extremes that this film goes to (displaying a Disney label), such as the witches sucking the life out of a little girl in the first five minutes, that put the brakes on any success for Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun filled witchy romp!
I have loved this movie ever since my mom took me to see it in the theater when I was 6 years old. Ever since (even after I was allowed to watch actual scary halloween movies) this has been my very favorite movie to put in the DVD player, pop some popcorn and have fun.

A cuddly koala who wants to be fierce, a squirrel in love with a sarcastic giraffe, an addle-pated anaconda, and a lion with a secret set off from their cozy zoo to rescue the lion's adolescent cub from an accidental kidnapping. 1-0 out of 5 stars Walt Disney Would Never Have Put His Name on This.
"The Wild" is under the "Walt Disney Pictures" banner, and even rated G, so I expected it to be a picture for the whole family, of which the studio is proud. I hoped it would put me in the Disney mood prior to our family trip to Walt Disney World.
3-0 out of 5 stars A Roar More Akin To A Whimper
I really enjoyed "The Wild," but I watched it feeling as if something was missing. It lacked the magic that I've come to expect in Disney's theatrical releases.Unlike "The Lion King" and "Cinderella," it lacked the "epic" aspect.Where "Hercules" and "The Emperor's New Groove" were laugh-out-loud funny, "The Wild" came across as a lukewarm comedy. It has a wonderful cast of voices including Kiefer Sutherland (who has the warm, fatherly voice downpat), Jim Belushi, Eddie Izzard (who almost steals the show), and William Shatner. It also has the reliable Patrick Warburton and Janeane Garofalo. But for some reason, things just don't add up.Not even the music is up to the same level as that of other Disney flicks released within the last two decades such as "Tarzan" and even "Chicken Little."
4-0 out of 5 stars My Son Liked it...
Yes this is kinda like Madagascar, however ALMOST every movie has another movie that is similar eg. Finding Nemo and Sharktale. Or it's a remake of an original, let's face it there are only so many ways you can make a movie that will please a wide varity of people. This movie was great because it is set in New York City and the detail is amazing. I bought this movie just before I went on a 4 days business trip to the "city" while I left my children at home with their Nana. I wached it with my son before I left and I could show him where I was going. There was a major scene where the animals are in time square and it looks just like the real thing, I was staying very close to Time Squareso in a way it helped my son to understand where I was going. So who cares if it's "similar" to another movie it's still cute and worth a watch. ... Read more

    5-0 out of 5 stars FantasticallyDisney-esque!!
This movie soooo appeals to the kid in all of us!!It really is amazing just how huge it has become, but to say (as has been said) that the movie made stars out of the actors is probably not as true as to say that it is the ACTORS that made the movie. But, in the interests of not getting bogged down in trifles, all I can say is that you should just see this movie.Really, you should.

High school musical is about student's that play basketball. They also sing together. The character's are Gariella and Troy. Gabriela's friend is Monica and Troy's friend is Corben. High School Musical takes place in the house and in the school. I like this movie because there are a lot of children in it. People would enjoy this movie because there is a lot of fun. Troy likes to sing and play basketball. I saw this movie in 2003. Seven or eight year old kids would like this movie. I also like to watch this movie with my sister and my cousins. 2-0 out of 5 stars ok, so it's meant for kids, but..........
i usually like these kinds of movies. i enjoy the santa clause movies, finding nemo, ya know, kid targeted films. and this one started out with so much promise, but fell flat on its face when they tried to incorporate the story too much. Billy Connolly did the best he could with what he was given. but i gotta say myer and hewitt and even odie, yes, odie, should be left out altogether. UNLESS, they too are cgi. because here is the problem. for kids that are new to garfield, they probably won't care, but for kids like me (and i'm 30), i grew up with garfield as my favorite comic strip. i watched the xmas special and i'm used to everyone in the comic having that certain big eyed, cartoony look to them. here, all you have is garfield that resembles anything from the comic strip. odie, while being a cute dog, IS A REAL DOG! ok, i have to go, so here's my point: make the entire cast CGI and take some of the stories from the comic strip and you could have a seriously long running franchise that will actually be enjoyable. i give it the 2 stars because the team of animators for garfield did EXCELLENT work. the rest of the cast is as annoying as nermal....

3-0 out of 5 stars A Tale of TWO Big Fat Cats -- Better Than the Original
In spite of its underwhelming results on the US box-office, the second live-action `Garfield' is better than the first one made only two year before. CGI of the titular cat has become more refined, and the voice acting of Bill Murray is spot-on as ever. Plus, this time you got an impressive list of voice actors from the UK - Jane Horrocks, Rhys Ifans, Bob Hoskins, Richard E. Grant, and Vinnie Jones.

5-0 out of 5 stars Top season
This season has my all time favourite episode "The Soup Nazi". George Costanza pretty much runs the show in Season 7, really coming into his own. It was by this point that the show barely needed a script, just a basic plot outline in which the great cast could show off their talents. The Marble Rye and Cadillac tie in is funny too. This is certainly Seinfeld at its peak.

5-0 out of 5 stars When "Seinfeld" became "Costanza"
Here we are, almost 11 years after Seinfeld's 7th season first aired, and it's as fresh and as vibrant as ever.
5-0 out of 5 stars Top class
I would give six stars if I could! This was the first season I have watched, and it was the one that got me loving it. 'The Soup Nazi' episode is one of those episodes people will still be talking about after decades. The catchy phrase ' NO SOUP FOR YOU ' can still be heard on the streets in several different countries. What was already extraodinary, got to a 'out-of-this-world' level. It doesn't matter if you have never watched one single episode, or if you have watched all of them 10 times. You will love them anyway!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great movie
ive been reading a lot of the reviews online here and i dont understand why people are giving the movie horrible ratings because it wasnt what they expected. I agree that this movie definetely shouldn't have been advertised as a "romantic charming comedy" like the box suggests. this movie was none of those things. it was very raw and emotional and truly depicted a harsh break up. however, i thought it was an amazing movie. both jennifer aniston and vince vaughn are amazing in it. definetely rent this movie. dont let these negative reviews stop u from watchin it because its a really good movie. you will walk away with something different each time you watch it

3-0 out of 5 stars Wildly Fluctuating Look at an Embattled Couple Never Finds the Right Pitch
The most resonant moment of this mishmash of a film is actually its ending. It's not important to know how the story ends except for the fact that it captures well all those quicksilver feelings of contradiction one feels when confronted with a significant other. Unfortunately, the rest of the 2006 movie enervates far more than it enthralls, primarily because director Peyton Reed never seems to find the right pitch for the story of an embattled couple who separate but choose to live together in the Chicago condo they bought. First-time feature screenwriters Jeremy Garelick and Jay Lavender make the primary mistake of trying to make the characters likable at the same time they are supposed to go for the jugular when it comes to the conniving game of one-upmanship each plays on the other.
1-0 out of 5 stars Bitter, Dysfunctional and Angry. A real downer.
The movie critic (from Maxim magazine) quoted on the front jacket of the DVD called the BreakUp one of the best romantic comedies in years. I wonder if he even watched it. It certainly wasn't a comedy and was hardly romantic. The two characters were bitter, dysfunctional, angry and totally hopeless. The back cover called it Charming and Hilareous, a great Date Movie - who wrote this stuff and what had they been drinking? If you watch this with someone they'll probably dump you. It was just plain painfull to sit thru. The acting - Aniston and Vaughn was actually fair, but the script was simply unforgiveable. Don't waste your time or money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Clever and Original
This is the only sitcom worth watching anymore. Network sitcoms are so moronic and unoriginal. This one really comes out of left field though. If the Cohen Brothers wrote for television it would probably be something like 'My Name is Earl.'
5-0 out of 5 stars Great DVD package!
There are two reasons to buy a DVD set for a series: One, no commericals and two, the extras. Well, Earl has a GREAT amount of extras you'll just love. The 'reverse karma' idea is genius. You get a whole episode to watch. Many deleted scenes and a host of commentary is well worth the money. For Earl fans, it's a definate collectable. I don't have to tell you how funny and witty each episode is, if you're reading this you already know what a gem this show is!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very funny, original series
I didn't watch this show until I found it on DVD, but I was hooked from the first episode.I watched all episodes from Season 1 in a few day; this is a pretty good show. The show has a pretty clever concept--a small time crook named Earl (Jason Lee) is almost killed after he wins $100,000 from an instant lottery ticket. He believes that Karma is punishing him for all the bad things he's done. Therefore, he makes a list of all the people he has wronged in his life and tries to make it up to them one-by-one (or one episode at a time).

5-0 out of 5 stars the reviewer below me is insane
Its kind of amazing how the previous reviewer knows so much about this show, yet dislikes it so much.If your a fanatic like this person then dont watch the show its not for you, because you take yourself far too seriously. this show as well as south park poke fun at all aspects of life, sadly people are so sensitive and when something hits alittle too close to home they write stupid reviews... If you are a religious fanatic dont watch this show, you wont like it.

1-0 out of 5 stars In the name of the Father, the Son and the holy fonz..... BITE ME!!
I was right when I reviewed season 3 of family guy.The creators got MORE militant, and more sacreligeous just like South Park did.Give anyone a little glory,a little money, and they will have enough arrogance to spit in the face of anything sacred.
5-0 out of 5 stars Dont bite the hand that draws for you.
If you like the show, buy it.If you can't afford it, don't buy it.If Fox wants to sell 3 episodes for 120 bucks, who cares? Why do people complain so much when the very thing they complain about is what brings them pleasure?I mean, come on... it's a CARTOON!So I guess if you can't save your money and buy it when you can afford it, you will stomp your feet and resort to stealing. Its clear Fox has met their match, but just in case they don't feel like giving in to your demands... you might want to start saving your money now for the next season. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Humor vs Drama
A final season of a fantastic diverse TV series. For years I've been waiting for the next season and couldn't wait to complete this set.Now that time is here, I am sad to see something that I've loved for years is going to end...again.Back in 2002, I began to collect the series while I was stationed in Korea. The series began out as a comedy-heavy sitcom and moved more to a more dramatic/comedy series.Although many have complained that M*A*S*H did less comedy, I believe it more appropriately represents life in Korea. The last time I seen the final episode I was 10 years old, back then I didn't understand the levity of the episode...but I knew to watch and be apart of history.
5-0 out of 5 stars Final Season bowed it with Class
Season 11 left like M*A*S*H came in, with class. Though the show was completely different by the end, the show was still quality entertainment. The message and medium were radically different, but the quality was never lost. Even after 11 years M*A*S*H wasstill able to make you laugh, think, and cry, sometimes all in one episode. Some shows leave on crutches with lame stories and a tired cast. M*A*S*H didn't suffer that fate. That was rare 20 years ago, and even rarer today.
5-0 out of 5 stars Episode Guide
The final season of this touching series is finally being released to DVD. Those devoted individuals who follow the progress of this series will not be disappointed by the hilarious and touching episodes presenting in this compilation as well as the poignant concluding episode, " Goodbye, Farewell and Amen".For easy reference, I have provided an episode guide detailing all sixteen episodes of this concluding season complete with short synopsizes. The eight season of South Park is truly funny my favorites are Good time with weapons,(talking about poking your eye out with a weapon) passion of the jew(cartman antics)and Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset(love how they protray paris hilton)
5-0 out of 5 stars Totally worth the money, if only for one moment in the mini-commentaries
I absolutely adore this show, and the often misunderstood genius of Trey Parker, who writes more than the bulk of the shows, so you can imagine that my admiration just increased when in the commentary for the PETA/VOTE OR DIE episode Trey Parker, after, along with Matt Stone, talking about how, after a comment made in Rolling Stone dismissing voting and the letter that actor Sean Penn sent the two, being his typical pompous self-important, photo hungry "I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE AND HATE BUSH", informing them of the negative effects of their comment, and how they should vote to get Bush out of office, Parker refers to him as, simply put, a f*g.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good season...

5-0 out of 5 stars Melbrooks funniest movies
This was one of the funniest movies about robinhood and his married men. When i first saw this I didnt know they were making fun of robinhood. the robinhood rap didnt even give me a clue that they were making fun of it either. that was along time ago. robinhood (cary elwes) who robs from the rich and gives to the poor. the sherriff of rottingham (roger rees) who is somethimes A dimwit. prince john (richard lewis) who raises taxes and he uses up the kings power. maid marrion (amy yasbeck)who loves robinhood. and the very ugly witch latrine (tracy ullman) who is inlove with the sherrif of rottingham cracks me up the most. best comedy ever this deserves a 5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Call a locksmith!
I prepurchased this DVD because I'd been waiting so long for it to come out. (I still have my VHS version). I've loved this movie since the first time I saw it as a child. The great thing about it is every time you watch it you catch new jokes. Cary Elwes gives his best performance to date as the charming, witty Robin Hood who, "unlike some other Robin Hoods", can speak with an English accent. From start to finish this movie will have you laughing. Mel Brooks even makes an appearance as the flippant Rabbi Tuckman. This is not a movie to miss.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Mel Brooks amazing comedy :-)
