5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Lacario and the Mystery of Mew
Pokemon Lacario and the Mystery of Mew is so cool. Ash finds a new Pokemon in a cave. Ash, May, Max and Brock find a new cool cave. It's so hot in the cave. In the cave they find three new Pokemon called Regaice Regasteel Regarock. They are ledgendary.I did't like the part when the Pokemon were controlled. I liked the new Pokemon in the movie and my brother liked the movie too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool. Best Pokemon Movie Eva.
The start was a tiny bit slow but the rest of the movie was great. The movie had Lucario a brand new Pokemon plus a old Pokemon (Mew) there were 3 other never before seen Pokemon. It had a great bonus feature. A Mew card, a comic and another free DVD of a TV special "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" This Is a great DVD. Movie 5/5 Value 5/5 Features 5/5Best one eva!

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding value, two movies for the price of one!
This DVD set is a great buy. I'm glad I was able to get Master of Mirage Pokemon on DVD. I had wanted to see it again but didn't think I would be able to buy the DVD since I do not approve of the new voice-actors. But Master of Mirage Pokemon came "free" with Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, so I couldn't be happier.

2-0 out of 5 stars Why do they do this????
Why didn't they release this version the same time as the non-limited edition? I just bought the original movie release. If I had known about this upcoming version, I might have waited.
2-0 out of 5 stars Eh...
Some would say I am a pretty big FMA fan. From the pocketwatch to clothing to even seeing a bootleg version of this movie about 11 months ago.I must say that I was disappointed. The ending of the movie ruined the WHOLE FMA series for me.I don't want to put in any spoilers (and I won't) but the entire movie was good up until that ending. It's happy in a sense but just wrong, way off track, and bad for the cannon.
5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT SO MuCH!!
First of all, if you by any chance read the reveiw in which someone called this movie pro-Nazi propoganda and such... that's so untrue. The only sane reasoning would be that they didn't watch the whole movie, because, duh, the Nazis ARE pretty much the bad guys, after all. That's like saying Silence of the LAmbs promotes canibalism, or whatever.Anyhoo...

For the most part you already know the story from reading the rest of the reviews and summaries.
1-0 out of 5 stars For fans of Miyazaki, NOT for fans of the book
I was very excited about this film as a fan of both the book and Ghibli Studios previous works. All the greater the disappointment then, when less than half way through the story becomes something utterly unrecognizable from the original and several characters lose all their complex charm. What a shame.

5-0 out of 5 stars Voltron Season One
Man I have said it once I will say it again; the 1980s was the best time to be a child. We had Voltron, Transformers, GIJOE, M.A.S.K., Thundercats, Battle of the Planets aka G-Force, and many other awsome cartoons. I am glad to see many of my favorite cartoons coming out on DVDs that way I can share it wth my little cousins and my own kids when I have them. Voltron ranks up there with many of the best cartoons of the 1980s and this series is a must for anyone that wants to relive their childhood. GO VOLTRON FORCE!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Animation just doesn't hold up.
Sorry guys, but after all the hype that was building up to the initial release of the Blue Lion Collection here, I am extremely disappointed about the final product here.
5-0 out of 5 stars Been waiting for this one.
I've been waiting for the dvd release of Voltron - Defender of the Universe. The copy ones on other websites don't cut it, the beautiful case and artwork makes it worth it.The animation is clearer and smoother, hence the touchup.A must have for Voltron fans and for people who likes animation in general, brings me back to when I was young.

I truly beleve the disney verion is better than the fox verion.
5-0 out of 5 stars Enchanment for any age.
How wonderful it is to be able to experience what is surely a cherished family classic for a generation of people from another country. This version of "My Neighbor Totoro" features excellent video quality as well as a very well done English audio track for those who wish to avoid reading subtitles.
1-0 out of 5 stars New Voice and Sound Tracks!
I was very displeased with the newest version of Totoro. With Dakota and Elle Fannings voices, as well as all the other new voices, made the movie sound horrible and very unlike the original version of Totoro! The newest version could never be compared to the original version! The original version of Totoro should have never been fixed and it will ALWAYS be better than the newest version! I couldn't even get through the first disc, without hearing the new annoying voice sound tracts! VERY DISSAPOINTING! What a waste of money... ... Read more

    Editorial Review

A mysterious, pilotless plane carries scientist Rex Reason to a colony of America's best and brightest minds. They've been kidnapped by a dying alien race, the Metalunians, to repair their defense shield before their enemies destroy their world completely, toiling under their spying eyes and futuristic security cameras (two-way TVs that dominate every room). Jeff Morrow, under a raised forehead, bronze tan, and snow-white hair, philosophizes as Exeter, the thoughtful Metalunian torn between his duty and his morals as he forces the plucky humans to labor in his race's defense. The moody mystery of the first half turns to pure pulp adventure when the humans are transported across the galaxy to the battle-scarred world of Metaluna, under the threatening watch of a monstrous bug-eyed monster with a giant brain for a head and massive claws for hands. There's a genuine sense of wonder to Joseph Newman's intergalactic adventure, one of the most ambitious science fiction films of the 1950s. The story is simple space opera, but the futuristic designs of glass and metal, the marvelous alien makeup, and grandstanding special effects invest the film with a Technicolor splendor. Faith Domergue co-stars as a nuclear physicist and Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Starts Out Promising, but Ultimately Fails to Deliver Much. Bummer.
This film is forgotten amongst 1950's pseudo-intellectual sci-fi movies for good reason: it fails to deliver any type of philosophical moral to the story, (as the few, best of the 1950's fantasy/sci-fi films did), and the monster scenes are way too brief (as most 1950's monster movies at least got that much right)! THIS ISLAND EARTH is a two-time loser in my opinion.
5-0 out of 5 stars This Island Earth
The plot is corny but I loved it.The Metalunians have the technology to travel 80 billion miles through space and yet they come to earth of all places seeking help to save their planet from exploding.I guess the humans being too stupid for extended space travel have to be smart at something, right? However, once you get over the plot, this movie is very entertaining given the neat special effects of the 50's, the interocitor (sp?) powered by a thyratron, the transport aircraft etc ..,This fits right in there with the origional war of the worlds and is from the era when they made fun, non explicit movies for the whole family

3-0 out of 5 stars Pleasing 50's sci-fi fare still fun to watch
Let's start with the most important stuff here if you've seen this classic 50's film. How does it look, sound and are there any worthwhile extras? The colors look quite nice in this print. The Image disc appeared a bit blurry at times with colors bleeding. That doesn't occur here. "This Island Earth" was shot using the Technicolor three strip process (except for the visual effects). The film was shot in full screen but presented in widescreen. That will bug you if you have a widescreen monitor but probably won't if you have a standard TV. Three and a half stars for the visual presentation because it isn't presented in its original widescreen presentation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Magical
A beautifully realized excursion into a magical world. My attention never wavered as I was struck by one completely unfamiliar concept or scene after another. Often fantasy works leave me a bit cold with the Shakespearean posturing and ambiguous dangers that any variety of spells can be used to bail out of but, this matter-of-fact tale of wonder needs no pretensions and achieves majesty quite easily.

5-0 out of 5 stars Mysterious, full of spirits
This is my third experience with Ghibli studios and I am not disappointed. I am actually starting to develope a taste for their animation. The drawing and coloring was again as great as I expected. The movie starts in a very mysterious setting leaving you a little scared what would come next. As movie passes on you start to see new kinds of spirits. Not many of them are bad, they are just seeking a resting place away from materialistic world. The movie is in general not meant to be about scary ghosts or vengeful spirits. It is actually about coexistence of men and spirits and how they try to reach a balance. In cases spirits help men or vice versa. Myazaki explains in the special features how this animation is based on his real life experience and it seems that he actually modeled the little girl after a friends daughter whom he knew.

5-0 out of 5 stars another amazing anime
This seems to be Miyazake's most personal work, clearly a serious design. It is set in an imaginary time which blends the time of the ancient gods (Shinto style, gods of place and nature) with the settlement of humans and the coming of metalworking and war. The world is not in balance, and a distant conflict between industry and nature has wounded one of the gods of the forest, which is then killed by a sentry boy as it rampages into farmland he guards. The evil controlling it transfers to him, beginning a slow takeover, and he must journey to the origin of the conflict to find a way to cure himself and incidentally, as he will learn, to try to restore balance. But this is not a simplistic tale, he finds there are other characters in play, and there is good and evil in everyone, and no easy balance. The Princess (Hime) of the story is a mysterious human who has been raised by wolves (which are themselves powerful forest gods, a little reminiscent of the Amerindian Coyote myth), who becomes both his ally and his enemy. The story is not easy to understand. It has many Japanese mythic elements but even then, it is a work of Miyazake's unique imagination, and is not intended to be simple or to have a clean resolution.
5-0 out of 5 stars Princess Mononoke
I have seen Princess Mononoke on T.V., and it rocks! It's just awesome like all the other movies that japanese guy makes.

5-0 out of 5 stars A classic reborn.
I first saw Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind when it was shown on cable TV in the late 80s.I remember being amazed at the artwork, the design of the aircraft, the way the insects and the jungle were brought to life.I had seen Star Blazers and was watching Robotech but this movie was on a whole different level. Now the masterpiece is back.
4-0 out of 5 stars A fair start for Miyazaki...
This film was hard to rate.
5-0 out of 5 stars Anime of the Wind
I don't know anime, but I know what I like. I've always said it, and probably will always say it. "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind", a 1984 film by Hayao Miyazaki, is a film I like a lot. It's unique, it's got atmosphere, and it's got a great message, I thought.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pure Thrills!
I love this movie as much as the others, maybe a little more because it does show more hanyous and the isn't so much inu/kag in it. I REALLY hate Kagome. The only thing I don't care for was there wasn't alot os Sesshomaru in it. But overall worth the money!

4-0 out of 5 stars the 4th one
this movie is definetly not as good as the other ones if your a Kagome/Inuyasha fan like me. But it does go into depth on the Kikyo/inuyasha relationship prior to the series. Othere than that there really isn't any character development. it is pure action and it's good at that. I do prefer the 1st 2 movies but this one is good also. I reccomend rent b4 buy because it is not for everyone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good buy.
I read a lot of negative reviews about this movie, some going as far as saying that it isn't worth buying. I bought it anyway, and was pleasantly surprised. I liked that the characters look more like they do in the series, while the other movies changed their designs. This animation in many scenes is superior to the previous movies, though I admit the plot is not all that great. The battles are a bit too short, and I would have liked Sesshomaru's scenes to be longer. As a matter of fact, the dominant reason for my deduction of one star is that Sesshomaru only shows up a few times, but always at the PERFECT time. I also didn't like the Four War Gods very much, but that makes watching them being crushed by Sesshomaru and Inuyasha even more fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Arguably the best of the movies
    Wrath Of The Dragon.
5-0 out of 5 stars A grand send off to the other side of DBZ
It's fairly well known that the Movies never really fit in the Dragon Ball Z universe.Granted one or two of them did so (Bardock, History of Trunks, Dead Zone) most of them were more of an "Elseworlds" tale.Wrath of the Dragon fits in the tradtion of the "Elseworlds" tales, but also in a small way can fit into the DBZ universe itself.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good writing, dub and sub alike
Well, here it is: the final DBZ movie.

That's like saying Silence of the LAmbs promotes canibalism, or whatever.Anyhoo...

ok, so strait up, i am a fan of (most of) the gundam franchise.
5-0 out of 5 stars Bouncy Meer Campbell Sings Bubbly Version of Lacus Clyne Song
The Mobile Gundam Seed Destiny Vol. 4 DVD contains episodes 15-18. In Episode 17, Meer Campbell can be seen and heard singing "Quiet Night C.E. 73" for the first time on the series. It is Meer's uptempo version of the Lacus Clyne song "Shizukana Yoru ni" ("In the Quiet Night"). In case Bandai Entertainment and The Ocean Group do not include translations of the original Japanese ending credits for some songs - which they did not do for the Lacus Clyne songs on the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed series, excluding the movies - here are the English translations for the Meer Campbell songs: Insert Song "Quiet Night C.E. 73," Lyrics by Yuki Kajiura, Composed by Toshihiko Sahashi, Arranged by Hideyuki Daichi Suzuki, Performed by Meer Campbell (Rie Tanaka) (Victor Entertainment); Insert Song "EMOTION," Lyrics by Shouko Shimizu, Composed / Arranged by Hideyuki Daichi Suzuki, Performed by Meer Campbell (Rie Tanaka) (Victor Entertainment). "EMOTION" is heard on episode 47. Full versions of both Meer Campbell songs, "Quiet Night C.E. 73" and "EMOTION," as sung by Meer's Japanese voice actor Rie Tanaka, can be found on the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Suit CD Vol. 8 Lacus Clyne x Meer Campbell. 5-0 out of 5 stars The old good vs. evil in a new exciting setting
This review is based on the Disney version of the movie, voiced by James Van Der Beek, Anna Paquin, Cloris Leachman, Mark Hamill and others. The basic premise is extremely simple - it's the old good vs. evil, science vs. nature scenario, but the animation and imagination is so cool that it looks much more complicated than that. 4-0 out of 5 stars THE SHEETA IS FALLING! THE SHEETA IS FALLING!
Pazu, a young boy, is looking for something to take his mind off the drudgery of working in a mine all day. He has to work because he's an orphan and he has to take care of himself. Then one day, inexplicably, he sees a pretty girl his own age floating slowly down from the sky with a glowing pendant around her neck. The girl's name is Sheeta and she had fallen out of a airship trying to get away not only from sky pirates, but also the government agents that had kidnapped her from her home. Both parties want the power behind the strange pendant and are willing to put Sheeta's life at risk to get it. Sheeta's only friend and ally is you spirited Pazu, whose dream of finding the mythical sky island of Laputa has an odd link to Sheeta's lineage.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Story, Facinating Artwork, my Favorite Studio Ghibli Presentation
Rather than rehash the plot yet again, I will give my overall impressions of the movie.I found the story to be very compelling and the artwork, particularly that of the village and the mines (what I like to refer to "Wales in Hell"), is spectacular.Excellent voice talent, including Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame, adds to the overall enjoyment.Like the man once said, "Sometimes you have to lose to win" and this is my favorite Studio Ghibli presentation.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best!!
This was the third Anime series i had ever seen. The first was Cowboy Bebop, then Outlaw Star.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Series Final with Perfect Edition
Where to begin. This is Evangelion the series that a lot people to be the best anime ever. I do not. I believe it is one of the best but not the best. I could go on on and on about how good the series is but at this point that would be rather redundant. So instead I'll take the spot of telling you everything that's wrong with the series, yes I do not expect to live long.
4-0 out of 5 stars It's not "just" giant robot anime
If your interested in "giant robot anime" with a story this is for you. Other reviews as well as search engines can help you with the story line and deference's between the platinum and perfect collection...

    5-0 out of 5 stars It's Inuyasha
All I can say is NEXT.......Honestly what can I say that has not already been said about Inuyasha......Inuyasha is the number one anime in my opinion, this is the only anime that has kept my attention for sooo long and made me wanna go and get the seasons on DVD, I like DBZ but I never bought the DVD's......Inuyasha is different, it's addicting.......Every episode keeps you hangin on and makes you anxious for the next one...We are waiting for the rest of the season to come out on DVD..WAITING PATIENTLY..

5-0 out of 5 stars The saga continues...
...and it still retains every bit of quality as when it started with. Every episode here is lots of fun to see, but really note-worthy stuff that happens here is the two-part epidsode "Fateful Night In Togenkyo", where our heros (minus Sango, who has gone to repair her weapon,) encounter a sage who has sold his soul to a tree demon and now shinks people down and eats them. This, by the way, was a story that in the manga occured much earlier, just before the characters met Sango for the first time. Which makes this the only major change the anime makes from it's source material, at least that I'm aware of. (I stopped reading the manga when they stospped releasing it in soft-cover single-issue format in the U.S., which would be after Inu-Yasha's party first meet Koga and Kagome gets upset with Inu-Yasha for implying that she might have had an indecent relasionship with him and she storms back to the present day.)
4-0 out of 5 stars Plenty of enjoyable side-stories and lead-up events - however, not the best.
"Season 3" of Inuyasha marks the halfway point of the series with apt intrigue and plenty of side-stories to keep the viewer occupied along the way. Fittingly enough, the main villain and antagonist of the show (Naraku) mysteriously vanishes after what seems like a death blow - forcing viewers to assume that our heroes will need another 80 episodes in order to have another shot. Oh joy.
